Per one of my questions in the previous post:

www.sourcecoast.com/forums/jfbconnect/jf...ut-hey-i-have-to-ask

You wrote some 6 months ago... "We'd love it if there was a setting we could manipulate to disable commenting for some users (ie not logged in, don't want more comments on a page, etc), but Facebook doesn't provide it. Their feeling is that if the user is logged into Facebook, they can comment using the Facebook comment box. "

Any advance on that?

Thanks,

Max

Max,
No, Facebook still doesn't allow limiting who can comment, if they are Facebook users. The only option that is available to an administrator is to choose whether other login providers (Hotmail, Yahoo, and AOL). Once logged into Facebook, or those other providers if enabled, the user has the ability to comment. There's no way to limit this, and there's no sign of Facebook changing that policy or adding other options.

Hope that helps,
Alex
