Hi,
I have a problem with this component becuase it seems that not recognize my Jomsocial Profile field. It see only aboutme field.

I have a custom JSocial Profile field. See below

I need that component works with custom fields and not only with JSstandard JSfield. Seems that is no possible to mapping custom JSfied with Facebook field.

FBConnect only works with text and texarea fields because that is what is returned from Facebook. For a select field to work, the user would have had to type in the exact information that you happen to have given as options for a select field.

For example, if you have a select field for Favorite Movie, and the options were:
Casablanca
Shark in Venice
Armageddon

But the user in Facebook choose "Airbud", what would be the correct course of action in that scenerio? It would break JomSocial field searching capabilities and cause other issues.

If you have a recommended solution, we'd love to hear it. It's a request we get a lot, but we do call out that only certain fields are importable in the description.

I see that is possible to import from facebook User - Gender (Male / Female)
On facebook this is are a select box. So if I need to import this on my site I must use a textbox instead of selecbox?
This doesn't seems good.
I don't know how can is possible to do it. One way can be to import it only if field_facebook is equal to field_other site.
Let me know. I don't want to use a textbox instead of select box. For some field this is no good. If user doesn't usef facebookconnect and I have a GENDER field as textbox the user can write in field any words..... MALE FEMALE but also DOG ect..ect...
This is only an example.....the same is for
•Location - Current City
•Location - Current State
•Location - Current Country
•Location - Current Zip
•Location - Hometown City
•Location - Hometown State
•Location - Hometown Country

ect...ect...

Gender is about the only one it would work for since you know all the possible answers, but even then, there's the possibility that in JomSocial you set a select box to be capitalized when Facebook uses it as lower-case, etc.

Again, if you have suggestions, we'd love to look into possible options, but we haven't been able to devise something that isn't too cumbersome to use.
