First of all this question is not related to a bug in JFBC.

I've just upgraded server and all seemed fine for the first 24 hours. However then the server crashed and on one of my sites I am receiving the following error message:
'Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /path/plugins/system/jfbcsystem.php on line 41'.
I'm on a managed server and they say that as it is a script issue it is my problem not theirs. A number of other plugins are showing similar error messages so I am 100% certain this is not a JFBC bug. I believe they have screwed up the server configuration. My question is during JFBC development is the parse error query something you have come across (for example if php5 hasn't been enabled etc)?

Regards

John

Hello,
which version of PHP is running on the server?

please note, the Joomla minimum requirements: www.joomla.org/technical-requirements.html
as for JFBC, PHP5.1 is required, but, 5.2 is highly recommended.
