Dave,
The picture should be chosen by the Open Graph tags you have set on the page, which let you set the title, description and image to use when the page is Like'd or Sent by a user. If you've setup Open Graph tags for the page and it's still not working, can you let us know a page with the issue? There are known bugs with Facebook where the Send button doesn't always use the Open Graph tags.. some are fixable, some aren't. If we see the page, we may be able to give some hints to get it working.

If you're not sure about the Open Graph settings, you can see the article below for more information about what Open Graph is and you can setup some of the Open Graph settings in the Social Configuration area of JFBConnect:

Thanks,
Alex

Dave,
Facebook caches the information about the page, so it can take a day or two for the changes to take effect. You can use their URL Debug tool below, which will let you see if in realtime what the page looks like:
developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/o...roductory-event.html

Hope that helps you diagnose things a little further. My guess is that it is working, but you just need to give it a little more time.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks Alex,

have set all the open graph parameters for each page now ,
the problem still occurred with 4 menu items, these refused to use the open graph data, and used default settings, turns out these menu items were linked from another menu as well, the url was different and the alias. I called them as if they were external links with same url as orignal page ,seems that's sorted it

Dave,
Awesome! Glad to hear you (likely) found the culprit. I'm honestly not sure why that would be doing it. Perhaps slightly different links were actually being generated, but it doesn't seem like it.

Either way, should you run into any other issues, definitely let us know.

Good luck,
Alex
