I found a previous article from 2011 about integration to virtuemart login: www.sourcecoast.com/forums/jfbconnect/jf...ith-virtuemart-login

It was mentioned that template overrides might cause problems. I am pretty sure we have template override, but really have no idea what to change for our site for FB login to work.

I was wondering if you guys might take a look around our site administrator and anything else you might need and help me out, really want to get this fb login working with our site.

My setup:
Joomla 1.5.23, VM 1.1.4 JFB Connect 4.1.2

www.tunicaragua.com it currently has sclogin disabled.

Please let me know.

Thanks again, this looks great!

Fernando,
Are you actually having any issues? We'll gladly help solve any problems you might be having, but we can't just log in and look to see if everything is configured properly. If there are specific problems you're encountering when integrating with Virtuemart, let us know, and we'll provide any pointers that we can on how to fix them up.

Thanks,
Alex

Sorry about that.

Everything seems to be setup, but when I hit login with facebook I get the popup asking permissions, so far so good, then nothing happens. I still get the blanks on username/password. And button still reads Login using Facebook.

Strange thing, I setup the facebook app, but when I get the popup asking for permissions, it says unamed app. I double checked app ID and password and they show up on JFB config info.

Thanks,

Gotcha. Thanks for the explanation.

Looking at your page, the only problem I see is that the Facebook Javascript API is being re-included in a way that can conflict with the Authentication functions of JFBConnect. This is being done by the Like button at the top pointing at your Facebook Page. You'll need to remove the script tag there that's including the all.js file. You can leave the fb:like code intact. JFBConnect includes the all.js file already, so adding it at the top, again, is a problem.

Once that's removed, try logging in again and see if that fixes your problem. If not, let us know!

Thanks,
Alex

That did it! Sorry about that, I had added some code manually before for the Like.

I am heading straight to vote for this app and support!

Much obliged.
