hello,
I just found that there's a problem with my jfbc fan module.
viewing at my coputer I can see the fancount + 1 always (means it shows 1 more fan then there really is). After seeing that I called a friend to find out if he can replicate this at his computer. Strange, he could see the box with the right fancount BUT he told me that he can only see 1 face - at my end there are 8...

very very strange I think. Any ideas what causes that and how to get that working correctly? thanks, alex

btw: I'm using module from the newest 4.1.2 package

The +1 count is simply sillyness on Facebook's part:
* The Fan module always shows the total number of Likes for a Fan Page, including you.
* The Page it self does not include yourself in the Like count.
So, if you Like the Fan Page, the count will appear different between the two.

Not sure about the faces. That could be a glitch in Facebook's servers not doling out the images or a few other things. If the Like count was correct for him, I'd call it a temporary glitch and have him try again.

Let us know if it continues, and we can take a look,

we tried again. The count is still correct at his end but after your explanation this is because he's not a fan.
regarding the faces issue: this is permanent here and always present if a user is NOT logged into the facebook account. I just tried myself, logged in: see all faces - logged out seeing one.

Alex,
When you say "logged into the Facebook account", do you mean logged into Joomla, or just logged into Facebook.com (in another tab)? Just trying to figure out how to test.

Also, can you let me know (here or in a PM) where I can see this happening?
