Danny,
Have you gone through our Requests configuration guide? The guide still has some missing pieces (we're working on it), but should help you to get invitations setup. If you've used the older JFBCInvite module from JFBConnect, the Requests are a little more complicated. However, they have a lot more functionality.

If you went through the guide, and can't get something to work, just let us know where you're stuck, and we'll help how we can.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex.

Thanks for fast response ! This is what makes a customer feel appreciated - keep up the good work !

We had an old facebook-connect thingy which was built in the jomsocial TACHYON template - that sis not work on IE explorer , only on Chrome.

My programmer seems to be stuck in how to swicth that old thingy off and fully implement the setup of JBF connect.

We need to have the facebook connect on the log in page - along with the normal log in - this we succeeded in doing,
but have temporarily removed it as the site is live now and has a lot of users - and it all needs to work at once before we announce the feature.

If i gave you the log on for our site would you fix it for us ?

The joomla team has offered to do this - but i would prefer that you do it as you have more knowledge on your own software - and there were some issues that the joomla team were not able to answer.

If so - can i meail you so i don't show my log-on to my site to everyone ?

You can see the site here : www.faceday.com It is in Danish - but you know your way around :)

Regards,

Danny

Danny,
No problem for the support. It's what we're here for, and what you get with your subscription!

For on-site modifications, we really don't do that. If there are bugs, we fix them, but customizations are not our bag. For adding the Login With Facebook button to JomSocial, check out the following article which should explain the details of adding our button (and other pointers for JS integration):
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/thir...ration-for-jomsocial

I think that should answer all of your questions above, actually, but if not, let us know, and we'll help guide you however we can.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex
You can see our problem in these screenshots.

I believe the setting on facebook is wrong, but everything except the facebook invite function is working.

Do you have a screenshot that shows the correct way to fill out those settings.?

Best regards
Bjørn Nielsen

Sorry for the delayed response.

All your settings in your pictures above look perfect. I don't think it's a Facebook Application setup issue that you're having. Can you tell me what happens when you click the link in the JFBCRequests module? From your image, I can't really tell what's happening. I also can't see where to login with Facebook on your site to test myself.

Once we get more information, I'm sure we can help you get it fixed soon.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi,

I have set upp everything as DANGR images as well, (have followed the config pages)

Me neither can't get the request to work =( Tested both request module as the request tag.

Get the error messages from the facebook pop-up:
An error has occurred. Please try again later.

Cheers!

Mac,
Can you let me know the page you have the Requests set up on? If we see the page, we should (hopefully) be able to diagnose your issue.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alzander,

The Request module is set up on the frontpage: www.pantotensyra.se
*Where i get the error message.
!!! I have sent you a memo with user/pass so you will be able to login and see
the request module

Also please view the: www.pantotensyra.se/facebook.php
*I took that code direct from developer.facebook.com and here it's working.

Maybe you can see if anything is missing when you compare... ?

Cheers!

Codeify,
I'm not seeing the Request functionality anywhere on that page. Do I need to be logged in to see it, or did you disable it?

Thanks,
Alex
