Hi,

I noticed a really strange bug. When logged in with Facebook, user appears to be logged in in some pages, however, when you go to the homepage, system asks to login again. When you click Facebook button nothing happens. Then if you go to another page, you appear to be logged in again.

Any ideas?

Tadas,
I'm not sure what's happening, but if I try to login with Joomla credentials, I constantly get an "Invalid Token" message. It seems like that page is completely cached and simply not loading anything else when viewed except the 'not logged in' page.

Also, if I click the Login With Facebook button 4 times in a row on the home page, and then click into your site somewhere, I see the "Facebook profile successfully connected." message 4 times. So, it seems the login is definitely happening, but that page isn't reflecting it.

I don't think this is a JFBConnect problem, but something with how that page is being generated.

Hope that helps,
Alex

Hey

Thanks for your reply. I managed to fix the problem by disabling the System Cache Plugin. However, does it mean that I cannot use caching with JFBConnect?

Tadas,
We do a lot of testing with the System Cache plugin, and have many users that use that with JFBConnect. Please make sure the System - Cache plugin is ordered last (highest number) of all system plugins. That's a requirement of that plugin always, but not mentioned widely.

The invalid token issue also is an indicator that the issue isn't JFBConnect specific. Hopefully, the re-ordering helps, but if not, it means there's something else at issue.

Good luck,
Alex

Hi Alex,

I have put 999 for the System Cache plugin order, but still have the same problem. Do you have any idea of what the issue might be? I would really love to use both Cache and JFBConnect together.

Thanks

Tadas,
I didn't realize this earlier. You look to be running JFBConnect v4.1.0 (or earlier). Please upgrade to v4.1.1. There have been a few fixes for caching and redirects in the most recent release that should hopefully fix your problem.

Let us know how that goes,
Alex
