I am having no end of problems with this. People just can't seem to get through the login process. I think I have it set up correctly, but they get error messages or it fails to register them ?

Not sure if you're still having issues. I just registered on the site without issue, and was able to log in.

If you are still having problems, edit your SEF extension, and have it 'skip' creating SEF URLs for JFBConnect. If you don't know what I mean, let us know what extension you're using for pretty URLs, and we can help.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex, I see you created an account, yet, your wall doesn't show that you registered ?

Patrick,
During the login process, the user must accept that their profile information will be imported. The request to post to the wall, per Facebook, is an optional permission. It comes up in a 2nd window and can be 'skipped'. When that happens, JFBConnect doesn't post to the wall. When I registered, I skipped that permission.

The automatic login does seem to be working, but right now, there is a bug with Facebook that we're looking into. Basically, if the user is logged into Facebook and has already created an account on your site, but isn't currently logged into your site, it takes 2 pages loads for the user to automatically log in. There are reasons I can gladly go into, but after a refresh, I was logged into your site. It's something we're looking into fixing, but don't have an ETA on the release.

The Fanbox at the bottom of your page seems to be working. The one at the top, I think, doesn't look right because the height is too small. If you want to show the header, stream, and faces, you should use a height closer to 500px, instead of 200px as it's currently set.

I went through a few pages and hit the Like button, and it seemed to work.

If you can explain what's not working with the modules, that will help give a better answer.

Thanks,
Alex

I didn't bother formatting the modules yet because they didn't work. They should populate, but they don't.

I think you are seeing things that other people aren't, because other people are saying that can't get logged in. I can only get half logged in.. the FB thing says I'm looged in, but the modules that "registered" users are suppose to see aren't showing up. Even the feed isn't correct, because it is asking me to like the page first, but I'm the admin of the page and was the first person to like it.

Patrick,
Do you have the System - Cache plugin enabled on your site? If so, try disabling it to see if that improves things. JFBConnect is tested with that plugin enabled, so it should be fine to use, but it can cause issues sometimes.

The Feed works by showing which content (URLs) on your site that have been Like'd by other users. It isn't asking you to Like your Facebook Page, it's telling you that not many people have clicked the Like button on any pages of your site. This will start to populate as more Like's are clicked and Facebook organizes them all. It can take a few days for the Feed to fully start working. You may want to try using the Recommendations module instead, which will show content which has been Like'd the most.

For the Fanbox, I'm seeing the following in the bottom right of the page. What are you seeing?

Hope this helps make some progress,
Alex
