Hello,
In my site I have K2 and I'm usign Like butto with opengraph. I have enable it and also option for user the first image in article but with K2 seems don't find image.
In my K2 config I have only enabled medium and small image. Not L and XL image that a I have setting to 0px
How JFBConnetct works? It search for XL image as default?

Thanks a lot.

First, make sure you're using JFBConnect 4.1, as that updated how K2 open graph images are detected. If you're using that, then JFBConnect is set to always use the medium size image set for the article, if it exists.

If you're running 4.1 and this still doesn't fix it, let us know a URL we can see a K2 article on, and we'll help how we can.

Thanks,
Alex

With 4.0.x, JFBConnect will only use the first image within the content as the automatica Open Graph image. In 4.1, we added the feature to use the Item Image that is set for the article. So, until you upgrade to JFBConnect v4.1, you'll need to explicitly set the Open Graph image tag in the article like:
{JFBCGraph image=http://site.com/link-to-image.jpg}

Hope that helps,
Alex

I have updated to 4.1.1
It works properly only in specific k2 article (url like http://xxxxxxx//offerta-del-giorno/item/86-massaggio-in-assenza-di-gravita.html)
In category layout (menu url like index.php?option=com_k2&view=itemlist&layout=category&task=category&id=11) opengraph doesn't works.
I have configured it like in screenshot to have a single article but It doesn't found image and meta-tag correctly

In category view, we don't set the Open Graph tag for that page because there are many articles and there's no way to know which article is the image for 'that' category page. However, the Like button for each article will be for the destination URL. On that destination URL, the image should be set, and that's what Facebook will use. So, you shouldn't need the image set on the category page, unless you want a Like button for that page (not each article). In that case, I believe you'd need to manually set the {JFBCGraph image=http://site.com/image.jpg} tag in the categories description to force it for that view.

Hope that all makes sense, but if not, let us know.

Alex

Yes, I understood but my problem is that I have used K2 for create a site like groupon.
In category view I have "sale of the day" and it show only latest K2 article. So, I have only one article in category view.
If is possible would be great if JFBConnect can grab the image and description at least for the first article when K2 is setting to category view.
Actually nothing is grabbed and can be have a sense to display the first image and description for the first article displayed.

Unfortunately, that's not how JFBConnect works right now. We'll look into adding that functionality, but I can't guarantee we will. I don't think your usage case is the most common, and we need to make sure JFBConnect works for all usage cases.

As for the Like button in general in the category view, when JFBConnect adds it, like I mentioned before, the button will always point to the 'final' destination URL for the article, not the category view URL of the current page. Are you using the JFBCContent plugin to automatically add the Like button? If so, then I still think it should use the final article image. If not, let us know. If you're using a custom button on the page though (for that category URL), then that would be another indicator that you'd need some way to specify the Open Graph tags manually as well.

Hope that explains,
Alex

For now I have solved problem with use JFBCLike and url tag. So in category view is forced to point to article item. If it can be done automatically will be great. Thanks a lot.
Now I have a other question if you can replay. I have add JFBC comment module to my site but I have see that in your site is possible to send comment by login facebook but also with Hotmail, AOL and Yahoo.
How can I do it in my site?

If you're logged into Facebook with an administrator account, above the comment box, there is a "Settings" button. Click that, and in there is the option to allow other authentication providers. Once enabled, it will apply to all comment boxes on your site.

If you can't find it there, you can go to the Comment Moderation Tool from Facebook and hit the Settings button there for the same options:
