No quick answers on that as we haven't used jReviews in a long time. In their menu settings, can you check if there's any option for running content or Joomla plugins? Our JFBCContent plugin is what inserts the comments automatically, and if it's not being called, that would be the problem.
Other than that, we'd have to investigate what jReviews is doing to understand why it's not showing in those views. This may also be a question for jReviews to ask how they treat category/section layouts differently than core-Joomla content.
