Can you post (or Private Message) the URL of the page? There's a few possible causes I can imagine this happening, but haven't seen it before.. so will need to take a look.

Thanks,
Alex

Dave,
4.0.3 shouldn't be the issue, as it had mostly some cosmetic fixes for the admin area. 4.1 is going to be released in the next few days, so I'd recommend just waiting for that version if you're planning to upgrade.

Unfortunately though, I'm honestly not sure what's going on. Everything on the page looks right. I found a post on LinkedIn's developer forums about other users with this issue ( here ) and they've narrowed it down to a Javascript conflict of some sort. I don't see anything terribly out of the ordinary on your page though. Even on a bare-minimum page of your site, it still doesn't work:
www.beingtotallyme.com/my-weight.html?tmpl=component

Can you try the following (even if just temporarily to test):
1) Disable the Mootools Upgrade system plugin
2) Turn off SEF URLs

Not sure if either of those will make a difference, but hopefully helps narrow some things down.

Thanks,
Alex

Dave,
Yes, you should definitely be able to use the Mootools upgrade. We just needed to narrow down where the problem was, and it sounds like we have.

Can you try re-ordering the Mootools Upgrade plugin to the highest and lowest orders in the plugin manager? After you move it, clear the Joomla cache, and then try again. My guess is that when it's in the last position, it may work, but try both.

Not sure why you're running into this issue. The Mootools Upgrade plugin make Mootools run a similar version that's in Joomla 1.6/1.7. We haven't heard of this issue with the newer Joomla, so it may just be a weird conflict on your site. Hopefully, the above suggestion will get you going, but if not, we'll come up with something else.

Thanks,
Alex

Dave,
What file didn't extract? We haven't heard of that issue before, and we have lots of people installing our extensions every day.

As for your current issue, can you post another page with the LinkedIn button on it? The one above doesn't work, and I clicked around on your site and couldn't find it anywhere else.

Do you have any caching enabled on the site? When you tried re-ordering the plugin to highest and lowest, you'll need to flush the cache in Joomla each time to make sure the change actually takes place.

If that still isn't working, please Private Message me some Super Admin credentials to your site so we can investigate the cause and a fix further. Your situation is unique, and I just don't know what the solution is off-hand. You can PM me by clicking the arrow under my picture (<----) and hitting the mail icon.

Thanks,
Alex
