JBCFan and JBCRecommendation modules problems

Both of those modules have a width setting. I don't know what the minimum width allowed is, but it's possible you're trying to go below that. Can you try changing the width setting, both larger and smaller, to see if that makes a difference? If it grows, but never goes shorter, then you're simply putting it in too small of a column.

As for the FanBox not showing the profile pics, it's a similar issue with the height. To have the faces show, with the stream and the header as well, the minimum height (I believe) is 500px. You'll need to either disable some of the other features, or increase the height so that they show at the bottom.

Great to hear you got it. Not sure what is up with the template not resizing.. every browser behaves differently, and you're definitely wise to be doing that testing.
