Dennis,
We don't currently integrate with JSPT. We support the built in multi-profiles features of JomSocial only. JSPT is something we have on our task list to investigate, but don't have anything there yet.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
Alex

Well, I figured out something, I changed my jspt options: to show the profiletype field on everywhere. and then I selected jfbc to appear the fields that doesnt leech from user's facebook. so on the registration of new user, he selects the profile type. I hope that wont make me any issues...

Excellent suggestion! We haven't used JSPT too much, but have heard of others getting it working doing something similar. I'd definitely recommend testing, but if it works, it works :)

Let us know if you run into issues, and we'll help where we can.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello again Alex.

It seems working just fine like that. havent run into any issues yet.

I got another problem with JFBCinvite module. If the user presses Cancel on it, its taking the user to the "thank you" page that I've set to my home page(not to any thank you page). The problem is that its 403 forbidden...

Cant I get rid of that "cancel" bypass button? Its useless to me anyway.

Saintanger,
Glad to hear the JSPT integration looks like it's going!

As for the Invite module, the text of the Cancel button can be set to Skip This Step, Cancel, or Skip, but can't be disabled. That's a Facebook thing. The selection can be made using the "Bypass" parameter in the module's settings. Clicking Cancel, unfortunately, will always bring the user to the "Inviter Thank You URL". There's no way to have a separate Cancel URL.

With all that said though, in the JFBConnect v4.1 release (due out in a few weeks), we're changing the Invite module completely to use a new interface now available from Facebook. It's cleaner, more supported, and shouldn't have some of the common issues that the current JFBCInvite module has.

Hope that helps answer some of your questions,
Alex

Hey Alex,

Well the thing is that Cancel is taking me to the "inviter thank you link" that i've set, but its with error 403 Forbidden, for whatever page I set for "thank you" link... Cant anything be done about that right now?

thank you.

Gotcha. Can you tell me:
1) What is the URL you've put in the "Inviter Thank you Link"?
2) What is the URL that is showing the 403 forbidden?
3) Are you using any 3rd party SEF extensions?

The links for #1 and #2 should be the same, otherwise, it means there's something trying to redirect the user along the way. Also, #1 should be a full URL (site.com/link-to-go-to), not a relative URL (/link-to-go-to). Knowing the answers to the above should help figure things out, as what you're experiencing is not the right behavior.

Thanks,
Alex
