Nope... I tried with Google Chrome browser on my PC and there's still a slight issue.
The very 1st time I fire up facebook and go to my page -> then click on "Free tablature and Promotions" (I have previously liked the page) .. it doesn't go to the page I want to go to : www.play-guitar.sg/index.php?option=com_...d=129&tmpl=component
rather it goes to : www.play-guitar.sg
Only when I click "Free tablature and promotions" again , will the correct page load up.
Pier,
I'll keep testing from different computers, but I can't seem to get the home page to load after I view the page the first time. Are you trying to open this in a new window, or are you left-clicking it so that the promo page still appears within the 'frame' of your Facebook Page?
One option that you can also try is disabling the "Automatically Log Facebook Users In" option, as there may be a redirection occuring when you are auto logged in, which may be the problem. Test without that, and see if you still run into issues.
Alex, I tried with my wife's account, clicked on the tablature and promotion button and it still shows up the play-guitar.sg home page first, 2nd click on the button and it shows the promotion page. I'm trying to get the page to load within the frame.
Oh, I might add that I disabled any redirection as recommended. See attached "redirection settings"
Pier,
There was no file attached to the last post. I'm not specifically talking about the redirection settings, but the "Auto Login Facebook Users" in the Login / Logout configuration tab. When I go to your Page, I'm getting "Automatically logging you in with your Facebook credentials", which would cause a redirect, which could be part of your issue.
Please disable that setting, and let us know if you still have issues. That may be what I was missing before (I was already logged into your site, so it didn't auto-log me in.. so I saw the correct page).
No problem Pier. Very, very happy to hear we got you going, and sorry for all the trouble.
I'll look into the cause of this, and try to implement a fix in the 4.1 release. I can imagine some ways that auto-login and reveal page don't play nice, but we should be able to put a work around in place.
Thanks for your patience and help in the process,
Alex
