The problem is that the reveal page is not the first page that guests sees on my page but the Welcome page. I followed the guides on your website but it seems that I am missing some instructions.
My Canvas Tab is working without a problem though.

How do I make the reveal page as the landing page?

Here are my settings on Page Tab:
Page Tab Name: Welcome
Page Tab URL: my-site.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=142
Secure Page Tab URL: my-site.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=142

I tried using my-site.com/ on both page Tab URL and Secure Page Tab URL and then the Reveal page is not the article id #142 anymore. I also tried editing the Page so that the Default Page is the Page Tab but it will not redirect to the Wall once the guest LIKED the fan page.

Do you have any idea where I went wrong?

Russell,
The Page Tab URLs should point to the page you want displayed after the Reveal Page is Like'd. JFBConnect will automatically detect if a user has Like'd your Facebook Page, and if not, will show the Reveal page. If they have Like'd the page, then the Page Tab URL would be displayed.

When you say "the Welcome Page", is that the home page (or some other page from your site), or are you talking about a different tab within your Facebook Page?

Finally, once a Facebook Page is 'Liked' by a user, if they come back to your Page later on, they will go directly to the Wall regardless of what the default Tab is setup to be. This is behavior setup by Facebook, and not something we can control within JFBConnect. We, and many others, agree this isn't the correct behavior, but it's how Facebook has things setup.

Hope this helps. If you don't mind, please send us a link to your Facebook Page, so we can see what's happening. You can private message it to us as well, if you don't want the URL to be public.

Thanks,
Alex

I would like to mimic what you have done on your SourceCoast Facebook Page and that is to use a reveal page. I have a page which I created using a different app from the one I am using on my site (I accidentally deleted the previous app and still contacting FB to restore it). The problem is that when I add the new app to the page, the reveal page does not come up.

I shall PM you the Facebook page after this.

Russell,
Thanks for the PM. I guess I'm a little confused by what you're trying to do. You mention "Now this is the app that I created and added to my facebook page to be my reveal page. Page has different app id from my reveal page "

You can only have one Page Tab URL associated with a Facebook application. You can only use one Facebook Application on your site for JFBConnect login functionality (and other features). So, the application you created for your website should be the one you set up the Page Tab URL on. Then, on your Facebook Page, you add that application to it for a new tab on the left.

Once that's all done, JFBConnect does the work of doing the Reveal Page and/or showing the Page Tab URL if the page has been Like'd.

With that said, not sure if that's what you're trying to do or not. Hopefully, this steps you through the process though. The Page Tab you sent me to says that it's powered by "My Tab". You won't be able to link to My Tab as the reveal page, just an article on your site.

Let us know how that goes, or if there's anything else we can clarify or help with,
Alex
