i have installed JFBConnect 2.1.2 version and jomsocial 1.2.18. JFBConnect is working fine. only te problem is that it does not import user avatar and his profile information when i connect with facebook using JFBConnect login module. i have enable all josocial integration instruction but it does not import user profile picture in jom social. my requirement is that when i login from front end with face book connect it auto login me in jom social with importing avatar and some profile information, when i login it works but only for joomla login, i get athumbnail from facebook also, it also login the user in jom social but no information from facebook are shown.
one another thing there is also option in jomsocial component for facebook connect when i put pi key and secret key there its works fine, but my requirement is that it should work with JFBConnect component
pls help me thanks in advance

You should definitely be putting in your Facebook API and Secret keys into JFBConnect. I'm assuming you're using the new beta of JomSocial which has some rudimentary support for Facebook? Disable that if you want to use JFBConnect.

We're still investigating different scenerios of not stepping on JomSocial's implementation of Facebook in their upcoming release.

thanks for quick reply, i had disabeled the Jom Social FACEBOOK support, and enabled the JFBConnect's jomsocial integration. it works fine, only two issues, first one is if i register new user after facebook login return to site, its work fine fetches avatar and other info. on both joomla users and jom social users. but if i embed the facebook user to existing joomla user by direct login with a user after facebook login return to site, its does not work no info. from facebook are shown at jomsocial.
In simple words JFBConnect does not work if i give the facebook info. to existing joomla user, its work fine when facebook info. given to new user by registering. second one is facebook field---jomsocial field maping, while maching fields, there is no proper match for jom social fields with facebook fields, is there any way to change facebook fields.
pls help me, i think i have not done proper settings so these error comes pls guide me

User registration:
I'm not sure what you're saying with registration. Are you saying that if you create a Joomla user, and then 'connect' that user to a Facebook profile, it's not working? Or are you saying that their profile information isn't importing? Choose below:

Not working:
How isn't it working? Can you not log in with your facebook information after you make the connection?

Profile information not importing:
This is correct behavior. Currently, profile data is only imported on initial registration. This is to avoid any profile changes your user may already have made to their JomSocial profile. If you have a suggestion of how to improve this, let us know!

Facebook / JomSocial Field Mappings:
The Facebook fields provided are the ones that Facebook makes available. There are a few extras that we haven't implemented yet, and if there's any in particular you're looking for, let us know and we'll see what we can do in a future release. As for mapping them to your JomSocial fields, you can either create the JomSocial field you want to import the Facebook data into, or don't use that field. You can name the JomSocial field whatever you want, it doesn't have to match the Facebook name. Generally, not everyone wants their JomSocial user profile to have "Favorite Books", which is why we give you the option to import what you want.

ONE ANOTHER ISSUE SIR, WHEN I CONNECT WITH JFBCONNECT LOGIN IT WORKS AND REDIRECT ME BACK TO JOOMLA REGISTRATION PAGE, TO LOGIN WITH EXISTING JOOMLA ACCOUNT OR CREATE NEW ONW TO ASSIGN THE FACEBOOK ACCOUNT TO THAT USER. BUT IF I LOGIN WITH EXISTING JOOMLA USER THEN IT DOES NOT IMPORT FACEBOOK AVTAR IN JOMSOCIAL. WHERAS IF I CREATE NEW USER THEN ALL WORK FINE.
ATLEAST MY REQUIREMENT IS THAT IT SHOULD SHOW FACEBOOK AVATAR AT JOMSOCIAL AVATAR WHEN I ASSIGN FACEBOOK ACCOUNT TO EXISTING JOOMLA ACCOUNT
PLS HELP ME, MY JOOMLA SITE USERS ASKING ME ABOUT THIS, OTHERWISE THEY LEFTING MY SITE

Please don't ever type in all capital letters. It's hard to read and obnoxious.

I think I've answered this before. What you're requesting is not possible with JFBConnect right now unless you wanted to hack that feature in yourself. Facebook user profile data and avatars are only imported into Community Builder or JomSocial on initial registration, not when linking an existing Joomla account.

If you have a good suggestion on how to do this going forward that works for all sites (some may want avatars automatically overwritten, others may not), we'll gladly listen and look into doing that in a future release.
