New Comment notification via mail does not work

Yup, agree, I'm not getting them by clicking the Like on the page either. The best guess I have is there's a specific Javascript error on your page that may be breaking further Javascript from functioning (like our notifications).

There's a file being included, below, which has the script type=text/javascript tags. Since this is in a Javascript file, it shouldn't have those tags. Can you try disabling the plugin including this file (no clue what it is, or I would have tried) or removing the script tags from that file itself?

There's some other JS warnings on the page, but the one above is a potentially Javascript-halting bug, which is bad.

If that doesn't work, of course, let us know and we'll keep chugging away at this. We'll get you going!

More debugging.. better results

Try it now. I made a minor modification to our Javascript file to encode the URL that we send a little better. Before, it looks like your server was getting very confused by the the URL in the query string (which we send so that we know where the Like/Comment came from). The new encoding seems to be cleaning up that issue nicely.

We'll test more for any ill-effects on our side, but so far, I don't see any reason why this minor change won't be included in our upcoming 4.0 release.

I just tested again, at first with just my email in the notifications, and then with multiples. I was getting the notifcation for the following articles:
www.se-first.com/Xperia-mini-hands-on-video.html
www.se-first.com/Mix-Walkman-phone-hands-on-live-pics.html
.. and a few others.

I also received a notifcation for a comment on that last article.

I left myself in the people to notify, so that I can see if I get any over the next few hours. Please try again, or see if you got any of the notifications that I just did (a few). I removed some extra debug code I accidentally left on your page, but other than that, didn't do any functional changes. If this isn't working, definitely let us know.. but I'd also, at that point, say to try other email addresses (though you have 2 different domains in there now, so it really shouldn't be the issue).

Another thing to try is just one email address, though, like I said, it's working now for me with the other two addresses that are in there and mine.. but I'm at loss now for what might be the problem..
