After installing FBConnect (which is fantastic btw) users get a 403 error whenever they try to access the default Joomla registration page, either from a menu item of this type, or by clicking the "register for this site" link in the FBConnect module. This leaves users without the ability to register without FB credentials. Any idea why this might be happening.

Question retracted -- I had "new user registration" disabled in the global config. Sorry!
