maybe I didnt explain it corretly...If I sign in with FB I would think it would show my FB pic in the login module and when I came back to my siite people woiuld know their signed in becasue they'll see their FB pic.

On another note, I thought somewhere I read when a FB person logged into the site it will post on their wall that theyjoined or logged onto the my site.

Joe,
Sorry for the delayed response.

I just registered on the site and see what you're saying (The login module is acting like I still need to log in). I believe the issue is that my user isn't activated on your site, but I never received the activation email. I also noticed you have Community Builder installed. Did you install the Community Builder profile plugin for JFBConnect? In there, you can choose to have it skip the normal activation process, if you want it to. Not sure why the email wouldn't be sent if you have that installed, but that may help you test.

2 other things to take note of:
* JFBConnect normally sets a system message when we can't log a user in, but I'm not seeing any message at all. This could mean that something obscure is happening with JFBConnect during the login process, or that your template simply isn't outputting System messages. With the default rhuk_milkyway template, these messages show up with a blue or red background, so you know what I'm talking about.
Do you ever see these types of system messages on your site?

* Before the JFBCLogin module loads, I see a little text that says "Fetching contents". You may want to try testing with the JFBCLogin module by itself, for now, instead of contained in another module which may be doing Javascript to load it up. Probably not the issue, but best to narrow down what might be happening.

Hope this helps,
Alex

I have the CB mod installed. I have deactivated all plugins and I cant access the site, it happened after I logged into FB. I made some changes to the activation and it did something to my site and it wont load. I think this might need more ability than I am able to handle. I think at this point I will just toss in the towel and take the refund. I appriciate the help though.

No problem. We completely understand your frustration and are sorry we can't help you get it going any better. If you want us to continue helping we'd have no problem doing what we can.

If you just want to go ahead with the refund, we understand that as well. If you would, please use the Company->Request a Refund link from the menu at the top. Refunds are processed within a few days.

Sorry for all the troubles, and best of luck to you and your site, with or without JFBConnect.

It's working fine for me in IE. In Chrome, I'm getting a redirect loop. This is likely due to disabling some of the JFBConnect plugins, but still having something that loading JFBConnect in general.

To disable from your system, try the following ordering of things. It really shouldn't matter, but obviously, something's not right:
1) In JFBConnect configuration, turn off "Automatically Log Facebook Users In", if it's enabled.
2) Unpublish any JFBC modules
3) Then, disable the content, user, authentication, and system plugins from JFBConnect.

The redirect loop is likely because you're logged into Facebook in one tab, but have disabled some of the plugins from JFBConnect.. so the autologin isn't working properly without the plugins. To fix, try closing your browser entirely and revisiting the site without logging into Facebook. This shouldn't effect the admin area at all though, as we try to not load much/anything Facebook related when in that section.

Hope this helps,
Alex

I'd recommend skipping Kunena integration altogether, actually, and just use Community Builder integration. You can configure Kunena to use CB for storing the profile, and that way, you don't have to mess with it.

- So.. unpublish the Kunena profile plugin.
- Then, configure the CB profile plugin to skip activation (since you should be able to trust the user's Facebook email address)
- If using the "Facebook User Only" user creation setting, make sure you don't have any required fields that need to be filled out in the user's CB profile. If using "Full Joomla User", enable the "Show Required Fields at Registration" setting in the profile section. This will make sure the user sees the required fields for CB, which is required for CB to properly save the user.

That's a good start, and will hopefully get you going. Site's working fine for me in IE and Chrome now, just so you know.

Alex, I made all theose changes, I am using Full Joomla User setting, I guess that makes FB people have to fill out my required fields that I have set up in CB?

What would be the advantage or disadvantage of FB User Only?
