Ok, I got all the extentions up but the frist thing I did was enable the plugins and I got these error messages on the articles pages

The comments plugin requires an href parameter

JFBCComments href=http://www.kayakfishingmagazine.net/articles/102-current-issue-featured-articles-on-kayak-fishing/1374-scott-pitney.html width=500 num_posts=10 colorscheme=light}

One other question is I have another FB module running, basically it shows the people who 'like" your site in a module position - do I have to get rid of that and can we do the same thing with this extension?

you can take a look at here on my front page wwww.kayakfishingmagazine.net

Joe,
If you're getting the Plugin requires an href parameter message, you're likely using an old version of JFBConnect. Facebook made some changes to their comment box which we've recently updated for. Please make sure you're running the latest.

Generally, you should only use one Facebook extension on a site. I believe our JFBCFriends module does what you're looking for in the "Who likes your site" module, so you can hopefully replace it with that.

Hope this helps, and in the future, when you need support, please post from the account you subscribed from.

Thanks,
Alex

I have really had some difficulities in getting signed in to the site and downloading the package and now I have to do it again. Do you have a pay service where I can have you install it and take care of the basics of the extention. I am kinda getting frustrated

We come out with new releases periodically with new features, or updates for compatibility with changes in Facebook. The last release, v3.2.2, came out on Friday June 3rd. Once a new release is available, we disable access to old releases to avoid obvious confusion.

Though it's something we've considered, we currently don't have a pay service for installation. Our installation and upgrade guides can be found at the link below:
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs

The account you're currently posting from is not the account you subscribed from. If it was, then under the "Active Subscriptions" text under you image would be a blue bubble with FB in it. If you did subscribe under a different account, feel free to post to this thread from that account, and we can add your subscription to both accounts so you don't have to fumble with multiple accounts going forward.

Hope that helps,
Alex

I found it. The account was kayakmag1. I added the subscription to this Facebook user's account as well, so you can now access it from either account.

Hope that helps, but if you need anything else, just let us know!

What page are you seeing this one? I went to the page linked above, and didn't see a comment box on there anywhere.

Sorry for all the troubles, but we'll get you going!
