try to disable status import - this should fix it.
fb connect imports the last post from the stream and not the user status message - alex knows about this and will look into it.
Yeah, it's being investigated. There's a few features we're working to add to the JomSocial profile plugin by the end of the month, and should be fixing this at the same time.
