Hello,

I think I successfully installed the component and the "sign in with facebook" appears to work. However, I wanted to know exactly how this works with kunena. If a member has associated both accounts, will any action he takes (for example create or reply to a post) be reflected on his profile on FB? I have linked my accounts but can't see how it's working on the fB side. I think I may not have configured something correctly.

Sorry to throw this in as well, but when i log in to my FB admin, i get this error
"Facebook API Error: (#200) The user hasn't authorized the application to perform this action"

Thanks in advance.

The Kunena integration right now is mainly for profile importing. We're working on other abilities such as posting to wall on certain events, but for now the integration is devoted to importing a user's avatar and profile information from Facebook into Kunena. That's of course in addition to everything else JFBConnect already does.

We've seen that error before, but never where you seem to be indicating. Can you give the URL of the page you're seeing it on? Domain isn't necessary, just something like:
/administrator/index.php?option=...

That will help us understand where the error is cropping up so we can see where in our code that problem could be coming from.

Thanks!

There's shouldn't be anything running from JFBConnect on the main Joomla admin Control Panel page. Are you running any other Facebook related extensions, especially ones that try to log you in? JFBConnect is coded so that you can't log into the admin area with a Facebook account.. this is for extra security, though there are no known issues with that.

Let us know if you know anything else specific about your site that may help us narrow down what might be happening.

Thanks!
