Hi Dave!
It's been a while since we've used FlexiContent, but fortunately, there's a couple of solutions for you. JFBConnect is pretty flexible on how you can add Likes or Comments, so hopefully, one of this suits your needs.
1) Manual - You can simply put { JFBCLike} and { JFBCComments} in your articles and those will automatically turn into Like buttons and comment boxes. This is more labor intensive, but gives you flexibility to put the widgets anywhere you want. You could even do this in your template files, to force it on every page, if you wanted.
2) Use the JFBCLike or JFBCComment modules. Assign them to a menu item that spans your articles
3) (Most likely what you'll want) Use the JFBCContent plugin - This plugin will automatically insert the Like and/or Comments into your articles. To do this, you'll need to setup a field in Flexicontent that is meant to show the Like and Comment button.. then, when this field is rendered, the JFBCContent plugin will fire and do it's magic. This is different than a standard Joomla Article which is fired on the contents of the article itself, whereas now you need to make a field in Flexicontent for it. For more information on how FC fields and plugins work, see the article below. I'm not 100% on this, and haven't tested the capabilities of FC since their 1.5 release, which added this support:

Best of luck to you. If you have any other questions, or can't get it working how you like, let us know and we'll see what we can do.
Thanks,
Alex
