Dani,
Thanks for the kudos, we love to hear it, and an extra thanks for subscribing.. it's what helps us to keep doing it!

Regarding your issue, can you check that you have the latest version of the Kunena profile plugin? You should see this on the JFBConnect Overview page (if you're using v3.1 of JFBConnect). This issue, we think, was fixed with the 3.1.1 version of the Kunena plugin. If you're using that version, can you check the folder below to see if there's files with your User ID in them? So, if your Joomla user ID is 123, you would see files like 123.jpg.
/media/kunena/avatars/resized
and
/media/kunena/avatars/users

The users directory will have the 'original' file that we import from Facebook. Please see if it's the correct (most up-to-date) version and the resized should be smaller versions of this file. Let us know if it seems like the original and resized versions are correct, and we'll do what we can do to help narrow down the issue.

Thanks,
Alex

also you should try changing your profile picture a few times and give it a few days. thats what I did and it seemed to clear the pipes with facebook.

Hi Alex thanks for your reply, yes i have the latest versions installed.
Regarding the images path i found something wierd, for the users path its ok, i have the images inside this folder:

/media/kunena/avatars/users

But for the resized one, i have subfolders named "size36" "size72" "size90" "size144" and "size200" inside:
/media/kunena/avatars/resized

and then inside each one i have the 2 folders
/media/kunena/avatars/resized
/media/kunena/avatars/users

Is this normal?

Thanks

Dani,
Sorry for the delay.
Yes those folders are normal under the media folder are normal. I should have been more specific. If you would, check each of the folders like below for the userid of the user who's avatar isn't being imported. If the file is there, try deleting it. This will force Kunena to re-generate the resized avatar, and will help narrow down your issue. The folders are:
/media/kunena/avatars/resized/size200/users
/media/kunena/avatars/resized/size36/users
/media/kunena/avatars/resized/size72/users

The original user's avatar should be in:
/media/kunena/avatars/users

Hope this helps, and let us know what you find!

Hello, its ok i learned trough time that hurry dont take you anywhere.

Regarding this problem, i just found out that after deleting all images for my user id wich is avatar15.jpg, they just dont appear anymore, it seems that it only worked on the very first time, i deleted all images for my user id inside all folders.
I also noticed that recently users registered on my site trough jfbconect dont get their avatars imported to kunena.
Maybe you want to take a look with your own eyes, if so let me know and i can send you my details.

Thanks in advance

Patience is good, but support shouldn't take days (especially when you pay for it). We do try to prioritize issues that are critical, and didn't think yours was.. but still didn't mean to take so long. Thanks for understanding.

I'm curious about the avatars not showing at all. If you upload an image manually, through Kunena, do the correct images appear in your resized folder then?

Certainly feel free to send us details. We haven't heard of this specific issue, so may even need a set of super administrator credentials to diagnose further. You can Private Message us them by hitting the arrow under my name (<----) and hitting the mail icon.

Thanks again, and we'll get you fixed up!

just out of curiosity have you checked too see if the images are in the /images/fbfiles/avatars/ folder? I know I had a problem with kunena way back when I first upgraded to 1.6+ that it was putting the avatars in the wrong folder.

Hello i uploaded one image trough kunena and it worked well, the image got into the avatar folders.

Sean, theres no such folder inside images/

I believe this might be something simple, but it goes beyond my skills.

Thanks

Dani,
Definitely seems like something's wrong, and probably (hopefully) easy for us to fix. Would you mind private messaging us some super admin credentials to your site so we can poke around and figure it out? You can PM me by clicking the arrow under my name (<---) and hitting the mail icon.

Thanks!

Dani,
I got into your site, and the issue seemed to be the ordering of the JFBConnect User plugin. We re-ordered it properly to be after the Joomla User plugin, and that should fix your issue. I logged in, and my avatar was pulled in correctly, whereas before I made the change, it wasn't.

Please test, and let us know how it goes.

Thanks for your patience, and we hope you're all fixed up now!
