Hello team,
We have purchase and integrate jfbconnect on our site www.vstore2.cstorelife.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler.
Now we want to fetch profile details from facebbok account. We have used community builder for registration.We have installed plg_jfbcprofiles_communitybuilder_j1.5_v3.1.0.tar.And now when we tried to access our profile after using facebook account then it show "This user has not yet confirmed his email address and account!
This user has not yet been approved by a moderator!".When we checked into database then, in joomla user table there have an entry but no entry in community builder users table.

Please check the post below regarding the message you're seeing:

Additionally, you'll want to check if the Skip CB Activation setting is enabled in the Community Builder "Profiles" area of JFBConnect. Without this set, the user will need to wait to be approved before being able to log in, and is expected behavior.

Hope you are good.
Alex I have been enable this setting and follow proper steps.But still I am unable to fetch facebook profile detail into our site.
Alex I need facebook profile into our site so please let us know where I am doing wrong or I need to use ant other module or component for fetching facebook profile into our site.
Also Alex please let us know if there have any other independent module which may be useful in fetching profile details from facebook this may help us more.

JFBConnect should be able to import the profile without any issue. You shouldn't need anything else for that.

If you have all required fields disabled within CB, and have CB activation enabled within JFBConnect, I don't know what the issue actually is. Is CB the only profile plugin you have enabled for JFBConnect, or are you trying to integrate with any other profile systems?

I'll try to think of some possible causes. However, would it be possible for us to have access to the admin area of your site to see the configuration of a few things? That would help us get to the bottom of the problem very quickly. If so, please private message us a set of super admin credentials. You can PM me by clicking the arrow under my name (<----) and then clicking the mail icon.

Thanks for your help.
After following your steps I am able to get some profile information from facebook but I am unable to get profile image from face book on profile page while I am getting profile image in login module.

Devi,
Great to hear we're making progress. We like progress. What image are you seeing in the user's profile on the front-end? If you have Image Moderation in CB enabled, then the profile picture may just be waiting for you to approve it. If you go into the admin area for CB and find the user in the User Manager, you should be able to see if the image is in their profile there. If so, try and approve it and see if that works.

If that doesn't help, let us know and we'll create another account on the site and see if that helps us determine why our profile isn't imported.

Hello Alex,
Thanks for your reply.I have disable image moderation in cb from admin.But I am still unable to get profile image from facebook.Instead of profile image this is show default cb profile image in front end.In admin I may also not able to view profile image of that user.
Please check and let us know what is wrong with this.

Hello Alex,
One more thing I want to share with you when I tried to login with face book detail into our site then there have no entry made in the table(jos_comprofiler) of community builder profile.
When I add a entry of that user id into jos_comprofiler then I am able to view profile picture into my account.

I'm a little confused. Above you said that you are "able to get some profile information from facebook". In the last post though, it sounds like the row in the jos_comprofiler table isn't being created at all? Something's strange there, can you explain a little more if the user's profile is being created at all in CB?

The only other things that I would suggest to check are:
1) Make sure in the CB profiles plugin for JFBConnect that the import avatar option is enabled.
2) Go to Help->System Info in the admin area, click on the "Directory Permissions" tab, and make sure the /tmp and /images directory are both writable. Additionally, the /images/comprofiler directory should be writable as well, but you may have to check that through FTP or on your server.

If none of those work, I don't have any other suggestions. Beyond this, we may need to request access to the admin area of Joomla to help diagnose and fix this further.

As I explain you earlier when I am login into our site using facebook credential no entry made in community builders table.You may say no cb profile created at all.But there a entry in joomla profile table(jos_user).When I add a entry of joomla user id in cb table the I am getting image.

Please let us know if anythings else you need for this.
