I just resubscribed the other day for one year after I let my subscription lapse because JFBConnect wasn't working. So I thought I'd give it a shot after six months. It works now. Good!

I really like how the JFBC Login module is set up at: www.sourcecoast.com/. It's clean and concise. At my site, urbanstl.com, the "remember me" checkbox isn't aligned correctly. Any idea why that is? If you have some tips how I can make the login module look nicer like yours, I'd appreciate it.

David,
Sorry to hear you had troubles before, but am very happy to hear it's working for you now.

Our JFBCLogin module definitely needs an overhaul. It's one of our tasks for hopefully the 3.2 release. We'd like to add a few default styles (horizontal, compact, etc). As for your specific issue, we can usually help you add the right styles pretty quickly. However, on the page you sent, I don't see the JFBCLogin module anywhere. Can you send us a page that's it published too, and we'll get you fixed up!

Thanks

Glad to hear you'll be offering more aesthetically pleasing options for the login modules. Actually, I had to disable JFBC yesterday because I discovered an interesting problem.

A big part of nextSTL is the nextSTL Forum . I utilize Rokbridge to integrate the Joomla & phpBB user databases. When I enabled JFBConnect, everything worked well when authenticating in the Joomla front end. But when people tried to log in on the forum , it spit out errors. Also, I utilize the Tapatalk app and I could no longer login to that on my Android. When I disabled the JFBC system and user plugins, everything was back to normal.

Have you faced this problem before?

Thanks!
Dave

No, we haven't. If you can post the errors that you were seeing on the forum, we may be able to diagnose and fix it just from that report. Hopefully, the 2 cases (Taptalk and Rokbridge) issues are related and we can kill 2 birds with one stone.

Let us know, and we'll do what we can to help you around the issue.

Thanks!

As an immediate guess, please try re-ordering the User plugins to be in the following order:
Joomla
JFBConnect
PHPBB

Let us know how that goes. It's a stab in the dark, but shouldn't cause any problems. We recently received a report of a similar issue with jFusion, and think we know what the issue may be (it's with how we deal with usernames and passwords), and are investigating possible solutions, but don't have an answer yet.

Please let us know if the above helps or changes the situation at all.

Thanks!

Tested your specified configuration and got the same error. While I love the functionality of this component, I can't utilize it because of the negative effects it causes upon my unique configuration. If this issue ever gets resolved, I'll definitely subscribe again. Until then, how do I obtain a refund?

David,
Sorry for the troubles. I just issues a refund through PayPal. You should have (or will soon) receive verification from them.

We'll look into the problem, and try to remember to post back here. If we do come up with a magic bullet, we'll definitely release it in the Changelog, so keep an eye on that.

Thanks again, and good luck!
