Hi there,

I've installed the JFBC Login/plugins (correctly, I think) and had it working earlier. However, now I'm getting the following error:

An error occurred with www.wishbomb.com. Please try again later.

My coder has adapted the layout only of the login module so I doubt that's the problem but you never know!

If you've an email address, I'd like to send you my administrator logins and if you've time, just check I've installed correctly?

Many thanks,

Ricky

I don't think I need an admin account (yet). I can see the problem by visiting your page and looking at the HTML. If you do the same, and search for "all.js", you'll find it twice. Once in the middle of the page, the other at the very bottom. We're inserting the middle block, I don't know where the lower block is coming from.

This double insertion is causint the problem, because both code blocks are using a different application ID to send to Facebook. Therefore, Facebook is confused and is then throwing the "An error has occurred" message.

Try to look into what's inserting the lower block with an app id of "92492483886" and remove it. That should get you fixed up.

Great! That's exactly the problem - all fixed!

Thanks very much, as always, for your speedy response!

Hello. I just purchased and installed the component. Previously my users were able to connect with Jomsocial from Facebook. Now I am getting "An error occurred. Please try again later." from Jomsocial and JFB. Here are both pages:

Jomsocial: www.urbancitylifetv.com/business-and-social-network
JFB: www.urbancitylifetv.com/invite-friends

Please advise.

The issue appears to be the exact same as what I posted above to the previous user.

If you open either page you mention, and then view the HTML code, you'll find multiple instances of the all.js javascript being included. There should be only 1 (from JFBConnect). Additionally, each of the different all.js blocks have an AppID parameter (a few lines above the all.js text). Facebook can only work with all.js being included once, and only 1 appId per page. So, start by disabling the JomSocial Facebook Integration (remove the keys and set the options to "no"), and then find whatever is adding the 3rd all.js to your page and remove it as well.

Hope this helps, but if not, you know where to find us. Good luck!

Thank you very much. That was good advice. I was using multiple apps. I entered the same Facebook app id for all 3 and it solved the problem. I did not realize that you can use one app id for all Facebook apps.

Thanks again.

A few issues:

- After loging Facebook invite module does not displaying connections in IE.
- A proxy window remains open after Facebook log-in.
- Log out button is not responding.
- Jomsocial Facebook log in does not respond (blank window)

JomSocial's Facebook integration should be disabled if you're using JFBConnect. The 2 components have similar functionality, which will cause conflicts if they both try to perform the same tasks.

Please try disabling JomSocial's integration (remove the keys and change the settings to "No") and see if you continue to run into problems. If so, we'll definitely help you look into them further!

Yes, have done that but still experience the issues mentioned. It works fine In FF but IE is the problem.

- After loging Facebook invite module does not displaying connections in IE.
- A proxy window remains open after Facebook log-in.
- Log out button is not responding.
