First, ensure that you are using v3.0.2 of JFBConnect. The next step is to look for the JFBConnect System plugin and enable that. It was added to the 3.0.2 release for just this type of problem (IE issues on some sites). We didn't make it required to be published right now, but will for the 3.1 release.
