I can't seem to get my JFBconnect working on my new build. I'm having to install a new instance of my website www.drinkersclub.com/joomla2/ and I can't get the login to work. Also I can't remove the powered by link even though the button is set to off.

Thanks

The error 100 issue was fixed in the 3.0.2 release. This was caused when Facebook introduced a platform update at the end of September, and only affected specific configurations of JFBConnect on certain servers. Until then, the pre 3.0.2 versions worked fine.

It's pretty easy to upgrade:

As for the Powered By link.. there's separate "Show Powered By" settings in the modules, not just the component. We're working to consolidate these settings in an upcoming release.

Hope this all helps!

Azlander, Hey it is upgraded, and it still doesn't work. I'm perplexed I got it working on the live site. I've tried everything, creating a new app, checking and rechecking all my settings,...

Still seeing that you're using JFBConnect 3.0RC2, not 3.0.2 (those are different). Please upgrade, and it will fix the 100 error.

OOOOOOOh, sorry I thought that was the new release. I can't find anything in the down load bundle except the version I have. Can you please send me another download link?

When logged in, click the "My Subscriptions" button. 3.0.2 is in there.. There are a lot of files, we know. We're looking into 'packs' of them to condense the social modules and stuff, but for now, just try to sift through. The only component release in there should be 3.0.2. We unpublish older versions as new ones are released.

Let us know if you continue to have troubles finding it.

Thanks!

No problem, it's what we do. I'm assuming everything's going well now... but if not, you know where to find us :)
