I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. The process is that a user's Facebook image is downloaded to the /images/comprofiler folder with a filename like jfbc_12345_tmp.jpg. Then, that image is copied to a unique filename for the user, and then used as their avatar. Are you not seeing the new image updated, or do you just not like the jfbc_12345_tmp.jpg files? Or is it something else.
I just logged in with the Facebook account that is working, and changed the profile picture twice. Each time, after re-logging in, I see the new avatar. This seemed correct as the CB avatar stays the same as the Facebook profile picture. The update only occurs when a user logs into your site.
I'm not sure if this is related to the most recent issue I sent you a solution for from the (long) JFTP error. However, please try the fix I posted there and let me know if you're still seeing the avatar problem:
