Remove "Username" request when registering

Let us look into this a little further. There's no way to do it immediately. We know that CB lets you change that setting for username, but this is the first request we've had for support of this feature.

We're currently overhauling profile integration for a few different releases for the 3.1 version. We'll try to get you a solution as soon as we come up with something. From a quick thought, something we can do (similar to what I mention below) is to tell you how to hide the 'username' field and make a very small modification to automatically make the username "fb_123456". Beyond that, I'd have to investigate how CB sets up the Joomla user account's username.

Not sure if you've tried it, but you may be interested in the "Facebook User Only" option. It's not exactly what you're looking for, but may be a good temporary solution while we come up with something else.
