So you are seeing the same behavior when you try to share a link into your newsfeed using Facebook.com itself?

We had another user report a similar issue. We don't think it's JFBConnect related, but would like to help get to the bottom of the problem. On this site, if you try to Share the link on Facebook.com, you'll see that the description and image show up properly. We asked that user to try disabling any JFBConnect modules (temporarily) and try to share that page. This will help us determine if JFBConnect is somehow preventing Facebook from scanning your page.
