As in title. The problem is, that my FB funpage does not providy secret key? How can I get one? Do I need to set up a new application in FB firs? If so, how to connect this application with already created funpage?

Thanks!

I'm assuming you mean FanPage, but just want to make sure.

FanPages and Applications are different beasts, unfortunately. You need an application to be able to let user's log into your site. You can add an existing application as a tab to your FanPage, but when users sign up to your site/application, it doesn't automatically make them 'Fans', it makes them users of your application.

Some of our modules do have a field for "FanPage" ID. This allows those modules to work for your Fan Page. The remaining modules work for your application only. This is how Facebook works. Frankly, we think it's confusing too, and wish they were more interchangeable. Unfortunately, they're not.

Hope that helps clear things up!

Yes, sure I meant the FanPage. I'm ESL.

Well, so that is not good news what are you saying. For me most important for me is to increase "Likes" for my FanPage. I've been using already mod_fbfanbox - similar think like you deliver in you package :/

The JFBCFan module has a parameter where you can set the Fan Page ID that people will 'Like' when they use it. The App Key and Secret Keys are used for when people attempt to log into your site using JFBConnect. Those user's can only log into an application, not a Fan page.

In short, you still can have your users Like your Fan Page right from your site. In addition, they can start using their Facebook credentials to easily log into your site, and with our Post To Wall on registration feature, you can have a direct link to your Fan Page, your Home page, or any other pages you'd like to post to your users wall to promote yourself.

Absolutely. That's what we're here for.

What did you try, and what didn't work? If you'd like to PM me site information and Facebook information, that may help get things going a little faster.

Problem was that, my other FB module I had before didn't allow to show up JFB modules. Now is ok.

The question I have now is how can I change the background under the comments people leave on my website via mod_jfbccomments or mod_jfbclike
To see what I mean open this:
www.loswiaheros.pl/zdjecia?func=detail&id=2357
and scroll down to the comment module.

You can see it now just when highlighted.

The JFBComments module doesn't currently have a great way to style it. We'll be adding more customization options (and information on how to do it) in a future release (due by the end of the month, hopefully sooner).

Glad you got it going!

Nice to hear that, but there is more problems than comments. Fanbox, share, like nad login modules need this upgrades as well.

Ok, and how to translate the FB button "Login using Facebook " into other language? It comes from FB or from module source?
Example in top of right column:

There is a language string you can use for translation. It's (by default) in the /langauges/en-GB/en-GB.com_jfbconnect.ini file. You'd want to copy this file to the correct language directory you want to translate too and update the LOGIN USING FACEBOOK key.

We're planning to add more styling options to all the modules that Facebook allows us too. It's coming, but it will probably be rolled out a few modules at a time, within the next few weeks.

Thanks for your feedback.
