Hi Alex, I got some problem about the position of modules.

1)All modules can't function in other module position except positon "left"(the default one). If I change to other position, all the JFBConnect modules halt and seems not try run and no facebook styled box shown: no avatar for user, no feed, no fanbox, no like.....
Could you help change what's the problem? I had PM you the link of my website and the user data.
PS: I am using Mosets Tree with its template Kinabalu, CB and Kunena.

2)Also, if I try integrate with Kunena 1.6 RC3, there has error message shown below. Please help fix it.

Warning: include_once(/public_html/testing/components/com_kunena/lib/kunena.user.class.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /public_html/testing/components/com_jfbconnect/libraries/kunena.php on line 20

Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening '/public_html/testing/components/com_kunena/lib/kunena.user.class.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /public_html/testing/components/com_jfbconnect/libraries/kunena.php on line 20

Fatal error: Class 'CKunenaConfig' not found in /public_html/testing/components/com_jfbconnect/libraries/kunena.php on line 23

3)One more question, as I am new to Kunena and CB, do you which one of them should I integrate JFBConnect with? I am concerning the flexibility, stability and support.

4)Last question, I would like to include some of module in the article/Mosets Tree Text area(support HTML), how could I do it? Could I just try create the module and copy the source code to the specific area I like?

Thanks for your help, Alex=]

1) We'll investigate soon, but don't have a solution at all as to why that would be.

2) See the post below. There's a file and instructions to update JFBConnect with. We hadn't updated our Kunena integration for the 1.6 releases. That file enables compatibility for 1.5 and 1.6.
www.sourcecoast.com/forums/topic?id=1313&p=1#p5018

3) Oh boy, that's a tough one. Kunena doesn't allow you to add new profile fields, so if you need to ask special questions of your users, I'd recommend CB. Additionally, Kunena has integration with CB so it can use the profile information from there instead of it's own stuff. You can always enabled JFBConnect to import into both, and then enable Kunena to still pull from CB. If you're happy with that, keep it. If not, switch Kunena to use it's own profile stuff. Frankly, CB is pretty good at what it does (community/social stuff) and Kunena's good at forum stuff. If you need both, keep them both. If you're more of a forum site, you can probably get by with just Kunena.

4) Most of the modules let you do { JFBCLike} or {JFBCblah} and it will replace the contents at run time. If you setup a module how you want it to be, then disable the JFBCSocial plugin, you'll see the code on your site. Then just take this tag and put it whereever you want... and of course re-enable the JFBSocial plugin. Not all modules are updated to this method yet, but most are. We'll be doing the remaining in future releases.

Hope this helps. As always, let us know if you have more questions!

Thanks for your quick reply, Alex=]

1)More details about the problem of module positon, I have tried install FBConnect in my testing new Joomla site without Mosets tree and Kunena and the problem appear again. I think it's the bug in FBConnect.
Also, I try many module position and found that all modules could function probably if they are in the same module position. Otherwise, all of them halt....
Hope you could help fix it soon.

2) The update really work, thanks for your help=]

5)One more concern about integration with Kunena, I would like import FB profile link into Kunena's field of "Facebook Link", but there is no such choices in the integration page of FBConnect. Hope FBConnect could have more mapping choices in the integration of Kunena. (Most important one of course is Facebook account!)

1) We'll be looking into this today. It's a strange issue, but it's not the first time we've heard of whack-a-mole with the modules, unfortunately. We're investigating more permanent solutions for a future release.
2) Glad it works

5) The Kunena integration for 1.6 was done in about 3 hours after the first report of problems. We just made it work the same as 1.5 and weren't shooting for any new features. We'll be adding to our integration as we explore 1.6 more. The Facebook Link was unknown to us, but that should be very easy to add. Thanks for letting us know about it.

One more question, is there any chinese/traditional chinese language package avaliable for FBConnect?

We don't have a translation pack for Chinese to translate the JFBConnect strings. If you create one, we'd love to include it in a future version.

However, for each of the modules, we do load the correct Facebook Javascript library for your locale. This is determined by what langauage setting you have set as Default in Joomla. This should translate the Like, Comments, Share, Invite, etc modules to be in Chinese. The automatic translation is a part of the 3.0.1 release.

Hope this helps!

I found a solution to solve the above problem~~
I used Ninja Modules Anywhere to add the module (like JFBlogin) to a HTML module and then switch on the orginal JFBLogin module but allocate it to blank position, then the new HTML module work to show the JFBlogin in other module position other than left position.

Hope it could help for your investigate the problem.

Anson,
I just got into your site (sorry for the delay). I created a JFBCLike module titled "Test Like" and put it in the right module position. It appeared and worked like I would expect.

I disabled it so your site is not different. Can you try enabling this module and see if it still breaks or if it works? If the problem still persists, please let me know. I can't seem to recreate it though.

Additionally, I moved your JFBCLogin module at one point. I'm not sure I put it in the correct order, so please check that it is positioned correctly on the left sidebar.

Glad to see the automatic translation working in 3.0.1. Neat to see in action on real sites!

Thanks

Alex, It works when I switch the module on.

But if I turn on the plugin of JFBSocial, the error appears again. It seems that the problems only appear when this plugin is turned on.

Are you using the JFBCShare module or the JFBCShare {} tag on your site? We're getting some reports that the Share button is causing some conflicts. Unfortunately, this conflict is with Facebook's own code, but we're working on some possible solutions. Please try disabling/removing any Share links (for now), and see if that helps.

Thanks!
