Recently when a user clicks on the facebook connect button ( module) the page will automatically reload so the user can see that he is logged in.

Now that doesn't happen anymore. I have made no changes whatsoever.

I have to manually refresh the page to see that i am logged in :(

Any suggestions?

That's usually caused by a Javascript error on your page. After Facebook notifies us that a user's logged in, we execute some code. If anything on your page has an error, that can prevent our code from running.

Error: this.fx is undefined
Source File: radiofruz.com/newsite/modules/mod_gk_news_image_3/js/engine_compressed.js
Line: 1

Error: b.stripScripts is not a function
Source File: radiofruz.com/newsite/plugins/system/mtupgrade/mootools.js
Line: 1

Neither of these are called by JFBConnect. I'd suggest disabling anything new you've added (temporarily) to try to localize the problem.

Additionally, we just released 3.0.1 of JFBConnect which reduces the amount of Javascript we execute during log-in. It's unlikely to fix this problem, but worth upgrade for a few other bug fixes as well as automatic translation of the Social Modules.

Let us know what you find.

On this site, no. We tested quickly with the new Mootools upgrade back during Release Candidate releases, but it's possible there's an issue there. Did disabling it fix the problem?

Also, what version of JFBConnect are you using now? I briefly mentioned it above, but we stripped some of the Mootools calls out of 3.0.1, so just upgrading may fix your issue.

Thanks!

Nope. For 3.0.1 (or any future version), you just need to install the component and it will automatically upgrade to the newest version.

Let us know how it goes!
