Can't get fbconnect to work

Not sure. Can you try disabling the Share plugin? We had another user which was seeing a conflict between the Share and other modules. We're investigating the cause, but it seems to be a conflict between Facebook's own Javascript files as there's numerous bug reports about this on the Facebook developer forum.

I'm not sure of any other cause of this, as I'm seeing it in Chrome. The 3.0.2 release (now due out tomorrow) will fix a few conflicts like this that happen rarely for the IE browser.

Finally, for the "Powered By JFBConnect" link, there is a separate setting for that in the JFBCLogin module. We will be implementing a better "Global disable" solution in an upcoming release.

We're looking into the possible fixes, and hope to have a more reasonable solution soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Are you saying you have another plugin that does Share and everything is working normally? If so, please send us a link to your site, with that enabled and working, or a link to where you saw the code so we can compare and see the differences.

The page that it's working on, I only see the "Like" button, not the share. Unfortunately, from more investigation, Facebook basically recommends not using the Share button anymore (it's being phased out), but instead using the Like.

They also recommend adding some extra meta tags to the page which can set a custom title, description, and image to display when a user 'Likes" a page. We'll be adding options for these tags in an upcoming version. With the Like button, as it currently is, you're users can add a comment about the page. If they do, it will show up like a Share in their wall. If they don't add a comment, it will add a one-liner to their wall that "I like xxx".

We're still working on the compatibility issue, but for now, hopefully the above information helps.
