Still not able to get Status Updates to FB working was created by r3trosteve

I have JFBConnect installed and working on my site. When I say working, I mean, we're making do but I don't think it is functioning as fully intended. Let me try and elaborate...

1. When new members join via JFBC (using Connect icon via registration plugin), there seems to be instances when information is pulled in to their profile - my selected fields, and avatar etc. Other times, this doesn't seem to work and I can't fathom why.

2. I cannot get the permission to post to FB wall part of the user sign up to work. It will not ask for the permission, and it will not post to FB. I have tried the steps I have found in this forum, but to no avail so far.

You assistance with getting me fully operational would be much appreciated.

1) The profile data will only be pulled in when you map to an existing Joomla! user or create a new Joomla! user. After that, when you log in, we will not pull in any profile data. There is a setting to "Always Import Profile Data" which will make JFBConnect import the data each time the user logs in. Will setting this to Yes make it work as you are expecting?
