JFBConnect places the HTML on the page and it is then Facebook that renders the button. What happens after you click the button is determined by Facebook, not us.

Facebook limits Like and Share functionality for the European Union based on consent and cookies. You can follow a support thread here describing how to work with this issue.

As you can see from that thread, the behavior has been ongoing for quite some time. Here's a quick search on the support forum if you want to go through the other threads

Thank you for your quick answer.

I bought this extension because I didn't find other solution to take like buttons to my articles. Now I think this issue is the reason for it. Maybe you could write this problem to the extension's parameters (just to the like button of course), because I think I'm not alone with this - I didn't hear about this issue before I started to use this function. I used like buttons a lot of years ago, and they worked perfectly.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. We cannot make the button render differently for EU customers. This is completely out of our control.

Facebook changed their policies for security and cookies several years ago, but I completely understand how trying to add this functionality now that you may not be aware of the limitations. If you'd prefer to get a refund for JFBConnect, please let me know and I can process it for you.

Thanks for your kindness!

Your extension is so great!

Sorry for my english, so I just offer you that write a short explanation in the description of the extension. For example: EU customers/users maybe can't use Facebook Like button function because of the policies changes...

So thanks for your help, I use your extension to share our articles.

Best regards, David
