Topic-icon Cannot connect to sourcecode.com

Hi, I saw replies 3 years ago but information was past behind the scenes in emails.  I have installed JFB Connect, I have activated all plugins.  I am getting the following error.  "getAuthorization - Error: Could not communicate with SourceCoast.com to fetch up-to-date information".  Your previous response was adding the JFB Connect IP address to the whitelist.  Can someone share what that IP Address should be?  Thanks,

Sorry for the delayed response. I do see that a Autotune request was made successfully on November 3rd from www.tin.......nets.com. So your server has been able to connect to ours.

There was only one request though. That is enough to get configuration information, but I don't have any failure connections. That could mean that none have been attempted (unlikely since your posting) or that the requests failed. If they failed, that is likely a firewall or other block of the server on your end. Unfortunately, we've moved to a cloud infrastructure over the last few years, so we don't have a fixed IP address I can give you. It changes pretty regularly.

So... some questions:
* Do you know of any security tools or firewalls on your system that may be blocking outgoing requests?
* Do you know why the request above may have gone through when others didn't?
* Did you switch servers or domains at some point between 11/3 and now?

Any answers will help narrow things down.

Thanks,
Alex

Thank you for the reply alzander.  Interesting the first attempt went through but none of the others did!  I can say, nothing has changed in the last month.  I suppose one option I have is to remove the module and then try to re-install to see if something occurred after the initial install last time.  Let me try that and see if it works.  I'll also be sure to clear any cache data to avoid repeating the same issue.

Thanks,

Frank

We traced the problem back to CloudFlare. Seems that they added extra security precautions and we had to open back up some access to Autotune.

If you encounter the error again, please let us know.

Thanks
