I update my JFBC and by Facebook Stream no longer works.
I am only using JFBC to display a Facebook Stream on this website.  All was working prior to the update.
Version in Joomla 3.10.2 and JFBC 9.0.17
No issues are shown in AutoTune.

Facebook split the functionality that used to be covered by one Facebook Application into 2.

JFBConnect v9 now has both a "Facebook" and "Facebook Business" social provider plugin. The "Facebook Business" plugin will need to be enabled for you to set your Streams/Channels up again. The "Consumer" applications are what let regular users authenticate on your site, which doesn't sound like you need.

If your Facebook Application is already a "Business" application, you can just use the same API/Secret key in the Providers -> Facebook Business area and re-setup your channel.

If you previously had a Facebook "Consumer" application, you should create a new Facebook Business application and use those keys. The instructions for creating a new Facebook Business Application can be found below:
www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/soci...ss-application-setup

I hope that helps explain,
Alex

I did have a Facebook Business App. moved the APP ID and key, and created the channel.  Auto tune shows all green.

I still can't access a stream.  I am running into "Select User".  I am not seeing any users in the form.  It seems to be missing something,  I can't find any reference in the documentation,

Did you click the "Log in to Facebook Business" link that's right under the Select User button? The authentication needs to be done again with the new FB business app.

The link will launch the front-end authentication for the app and you should be prompted for permissions. Once you authenticate, I'd save the channel and then refresh again if the Select User is still not populated.

When I click on the link referenced, I get the following error

"URL Blocked: This redirect failed because the redirect URI is not whitelisted in the app’s Client OAuth Settings. Make sure Client and Web OAuth Login are on and add all your app domains as Valid OAuth Redirect URIs."

The App Conguration hasn't changed.  It is a Facebook Buisness app.

You'll need to update the Facebook Application in the App Developer area with a new URL. The old plugin was called 'facebook' and the new one is 'facebookbusiness', so the authentication URL changes slightly.

Please look through the Facebook Business Setup Guide and check the URLs described at the bottom in the "Products > Facebook Login > Settings" section.

I hope that helps!

Solved. Thank you. Summary of the issue was I lost my Facebook stream when I updated software. To resolve the issue I moved credentials to Facebook Business, as originally directed. But also have to change the open auth URIs from facebook to facebookbusiness. Once that was done, I was back in business.

Thanks.

Glad we could help. I've updated our upgrade guide in the sticky to call out more clearly that the Redirect URIs are different for consumer vs business.
