Howdy. Sorry for the delay (we saw you emailed us as well). The ForcePasswordChange plugin has a parameter called "Message". This parameter is where you can set the specific message that is shown to the user. The default is "You must update your password before continuing to use the site.". Try updating that and see if it gives you the result you're looking for.

If that's not the message you're talking about, let us know and we'll help you come up with the correct solution.

Sorry, nothing yet. It's a pretty simple change if you want to do it, we just haven't had the time to repackage and test the change. We're hoping to get something out for this request in a few days (early next week at the latest). We love our free extensions, but the paid extensions obviously take priority. We're clearing up some minor issues in our Facebook extension now. That should clear up soon, letting us focus on your change.

We just uploaded v1.3 of the ForcePasswordChange plugin to our non-commercial extensions area. This changed the "Update your password" message to come from a language file. The default (en-GB) language file can be found in the following location after installation:
/administrator/languages/en-GB/en-GB.plg_system-forcepasswordchange.ini
