Complete Facebook Integration for Joomla
The Facebook Activity Feed plugin shows users what their friends are doing on your site through their use of likes and comments.
JFBConnect gives you 2 easy methods to add the Facebook activity feed to your site: either through the JFBCFeed module or the JFBCFeed easy-tag, as described below.
The JFBCFeed module, included with JFBCConnect, is an easy way to use the Joomla administrator interface to add the Facebook activity feed to your whole site, or any section or page within your site. Since it's a standard Joomla module, all the available parameters for the Facebook activity feed are easily accessible, such as whether to show recommendations, display the header, the border color, width, height, and color scheme of the activity feed.
As with any Joomla module, you can set the JFBCFeed module to show in any template position, on any specific (or all) menu items of your site, and whether guest, registered, or special users can view it.
With the JFBConnect easy-tags, it's very easy to add the Facebook activity feed to any Joomla article, custom HTML module, template or other area of your site. This is great for when a module just won't work, or you want even more customization for the activity feed. To use the easy-tag, simply include any of the following snippets into your site's content, and JFBConnect will take care of the rest:
{JFBCFeed site=http://www.sourcecoast.com}
{JFBCFeed site=http://www.sourcecoast.com height=300 width=250 colorscheme=dark font=verdana border_color=blue header=false}
The last tag above is what's used, in this Joomla article, to insert the Facebook Activity Feed directly on this page!
