Topic-icon HELP:- Register on this Site - skips most fields

Hi, Alex,
We're in a bit of a mess with Registration. Using the 'Register with this Site' option, which should by-pass JLinked (correct?), here's a list of what happens (with screenshots):-
A. In Firefox "Register New User" when ALL fields completed we get an error "Notice: Info is required, Make sure it contains a valid value!"
Tried several times, cleaned caches etc - same notice.
So... switched to Safari &using the same data - that got us past the Error Notice

B. From 'Register New User' we go to a screen "Employment Background" - this is a Custom Field Group in JSocial - but the process has skipped the Standard JSocial fields AND all other Custom fields - also this "Employment Background" screen is a RADIO button.... when checked it goes to

C. "Employment Background" - with panel for user to enter data. When that's done & REGISTER is clicked we are taken to ...

D. Blank 'User Information' form - eg: No styling, no template (ie no site logo, menu bars etc)
Ok.... filled that out & we go back to the site template BUT....

E. 'Invalid Token"

Several refreshes... clear cache etc won't clear it!!!
Backend.... NO user has been created!!

Site: packwebasia dot com

Help!!!
(also having probs uploading screenshot here!)

Stuart,
That's definitely very strange. I hate to tell you though, that's not caused by JLinked at all. We really don't have any methods to modify JomSocial's registration process built-in to JLinked. We import the JomSocial fields into JLinked, but don't touch the other way around. If you want, you can try to disable the JLinked System, User, and Authentication plugins to verify. That shouldn't change the behavior at all, but obviously if it does, let us know.

Finally, I just went through process, up to the "Previous Positions" box at least, just to see. It's definitely a bit strange. The last that seems to go back to registration is on a white background without the template. That usually means a PHP error. I'd recommend going into Global Config of Joomla and changing Error Reporting to Maximum. That may show an error on that page (or others) that may help narrow down where and in what extensions issues are occurring.

Hope that gets you started. We have no problem taking blame where we're at fault, but in this case, it seems like something in JomSocial or overrides you've made are having issues.

Good luck!
Alex
