Google Apps for Education SSO

Just wondering if this extension makes it possible to use Google Apps for Education SSO with Joomla 3.3. If so, will it generate the key files? Create Joomla users from the Google Apps for Education users? Google Apps for Education users are not granted access to Google+.

I've been using Joomla for a few years now and have found myself searching every few months for an extension that would enable SSO for Google Apps for Education and usually have very little success. In 2.5 I found one extension that was hardly maintained and unreliable at best. After many hours scouring forums, I know I'm not the only person looking for an extension with this capability. As an early adopter, I know some things I look for won't be available yet. However, I know of another charter school as well as a district within the same county I'm in that use Joomla for their websites and they're both migrating to Google Apps this year. I hope the demand for this does increase to make it viable to add because I would gladly pay for a reliable extension that just enables SSO for Google Apps for Education.
