Hey i just bought JFB and i configured everything as it should go, but JFB just DOESNT works at all!! as you read it, it makes nothing, just login with fb but it doesn't posts in fb wall etc, im very disappointed! what can i do (i do have all the plugins up and published)

I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP

p.s. im using joomla 3 and jomsocial 2.8.4 (both newest version)

If you haven't already, please make sure you've read our Facebook for JomSocial support guide. That has the initial steps you'll need for compatibility between the two.

For the post to Facebook on Registration or Login, please try using just a Message at first. Make sure that works. Then, try adding a URL link and an image link, if you want to use those. When you add them, make sure you are using a *full* url, including http://. If those URLs are incorrect, the post will not be accepted by Facebook.

Beyond that, can you let us know specifically what features you're looking to get working and how it is failing?

A link to your site will also help with diagnosing specific issues.

ok, the problem is this: jfb only publish text un facebook walls, i dont get any callback links to my site, if someone replys to the post published in facebook it doesnt appears in my jomsocial, its imposible to shre videos, photos etc...form jomsocial to facebook walls, actually your JFB makes exactly the same as jomsocial facebookconect (just shares text)...

I want JFB to publish any users action in their facebook's wall (posts, likes, events etc...) and that the replys they get to those posts (in facebook) appear in my jomsocial wall as well (if thats posible)...in a few words, i want my site conected to facebook, i need that people can interact between my site (jomsocial) and facebook, like giving likes, replying to posts in my sites etc...

Actually im having trouble with opengraph too, i made the actions in facebook and then in opengraph exactly as said in your user guide and is not working...

When something posts into Facebook from JomSocial, any comments to that post can't be pulled back into your site. That's not how Facebook works, and there's no way to completely sync activity like that.

When you get Open Graph Actions setup, that will post the title, image, and description of your page along with a link back that is great for promotion. I think that's what you're mainly looking for. Can you tell me what you've configured for Open Graph, what doesn't seem to be working, and what you're trying to accomplish? Let's start with just one Open Graph Action, like uploading photos or joining a group. After we get one setup and working, we can move on to the next action if you need more help from there.

ok, i just configured one read (action) aarticle (9bject) and is not working, nothing posts into facebook...

and as i told you before, any event creates in jomsocial appears on facebook!!! just simple status/text posts get transfered to facebook, no photos no, events, no videos etc...

The status updates that we post to Facebook are only the text based ones. We don't currently post image or other multimedia type status updates in JomSocial to Facebook. That's something we're looking into, and hoping to have out in a future release soon.

As for the Open Graph Actions not working, can you please let us know specifically how you've configured the object and action in JFBConnect and a page on your site where we can the object (like a content article or JomSocial album). If you haven't already, please make sure you've checked out our Facebook Open Graph Action guide for Joomla . That describes the full process for configuring Open Graph Actions.

Keep us posted on the progress you've made and where we can see any pages/objects you've created so we can help diagnose any issues you're having.
