When I am logged into SpringportMotorSpeedway.com, in the mod_jfbcfan it only shows me check ins, rather then all the stuff I'd expect to see ?

Patrick,
I'm seeing the stream posts, like I'd expect. I just looked at the Like Box (Fan) description page from Facebook, and it looks like they added a new parameter:

force_wall - for Places, specifies whether the stream contains posts from the Place's wall or just checkins from friends. Default value: false.

developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-box/

We don't currently support that setting yet, and without it, it should be defaulted to 'false'. However, on your 'nothing works as expected' site, it seems to be defaulting it to true.. for just you.

I'm assuming you're using Chrome, which we've seen other problems with in the other posts. Can you try in FF where you've had better luck? That will help narrow down possible causes.

Thanks,
Alex

If necessary, we can help you to easily add that setting and force it to false, which should then properly show the stream. Would like to know if it's browser specific first.

Since I am an admin of the page, I wonder if that is why the box shows different ?

Very possible. The widgets all definitely show a little different when you're the admin of the Page or Application. Usually, the differences are for additional options/settings you may have available to you. That setting is brand new though, so it's possible it's just bugged right now for administrators. I couldn't find any other reports of this in FB's bug tracker.

Can you try with a non-admin FB account or not be logged into FB at all and let us know what you see?

Thanks,
Alex

When not logged in as admin, and using FF, the widget works correctly.

That helps explain it. I'll check around if there's a bug already logged for this with Facebook next week, and if not, report it. It's sounds like a pretty minor issue and Facebook gets -a lot- of bug reports, so I wouldn't expect it to be fixed soon unless they classify it differently or they find it to be a really simple fix (which it honestly should be).

Thanks for the report,
Alex
