Topic-icon problem i'm having with the JFBCLogin Module

I've redone how my page is laid out recently and I now have the JFBCLogin module on the header without the standard user/password boxes, and I added a Sign In | link to the register for this site line, anyways, I noticed that the Connect with face book button does not do anything unless you are on the home page of the site, any other component you can click it all day long and it does nothing.

Hey Sean, that problem is usually caused when there's another Javascript error on the page, which is preventing Facebook from doing it's thing. I know I've looked at your page a ton, but can't remember the URL right now. I tried to look through some previous posts, but it didn't jump out at me. Can you post a page that the problem is occurring on, and you know us, we'll get you an answer quickly :)

Sean,
The site is offline. I'll check back later, in case I just hit it at the wrong time. If there's something I need to know to access the site, let me know.

Sean,
Can you test again, and if the problem persists, let us know what browser your using and any other info about your setup that may help? I just tested on the home page, photo gallery, downloads, and contact us page. Each time, I successfully logged in without any issues.

Hopefully it was a random problem, but if you're still having it, we'll definitely look into it further!

I know this a old thread, but I did discover the culprite of this issue, A plugin I use to have all of the various social network sites like buttons on the bottom of articles is causing jfbc not to work on those pages its called ITP Share point..

Sean,
We actually had a similar problem report from a different user lately. They were able to resolve it by changing some parameters in the ITP Share extension. Specifically, there were settings to include the Facebook Javascript Library and another to include the Facebook Root Tag (or something similar). You should disable both of those settings to work well with JFBConnect, but the Like button in the Share module should continue to work.

Hope that helps,
Alex
