I have the JFBComments module & JFBContent plug-in installed and my comments module is not working properly. Where the comment mod should be, I keep getting a "The comments plugin requires an href parameter." message. What am I doing wrong to prevent the comments mod from showing? Here is a link to the site:

ps. I have JFBContent installed but I also tried using the { JFBCComments...} method and the {loadposition..} method with the same results.

I believe the problem isn't a missing href parameter, but instead that you're using an extension that's loading the old, and incompatible with the new, Facebook Javascript library. The extension is Facebook Fanbox 1.5.x.0, and should be disabled. You should be able to use the JFBCFan module and get the same features.

Hope this helps, but if not, let us know. Good luck!

I'm having the same problem but not tech savvy. Where do I go to disable the Facebook Fanbox 1.5.x.0?

My pluggin seems to be searching for a connection of sorts... and the message: "The comments plug-in needs href param" appears below my blog post. I also have a FB like button. It seems there is a tech glitch of sorts.

Thank you!

Energized,
I don't know the plugin you're using. If you're using JFBConnect, please let us know the page it's on, and post from the account you subscribed from. Otherwise, we won't be able to help you.

Aleksandar,
Can you try adding one (or both) of the following lines to the Open Graph configuration area in JFBConnect:
app_id=<YOUR APPLICATION ID>
admins=<YOUR FACEBOOK USER ID>

This may help let Facebook recognize you as an administrator. It should work automatically, but we've seen it needed to be forced in some cases. Please note, that you need to have the Open Graph features enabled in JFBConnect.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

It`s not working automatically, but I will wait until tomorrow. I remmember what you said me before, that Facebook need some time - up to 24h to make change.

I will post here my results.

Thanks!
