JYelp

JYelp provides an easy way to integrate with Yelp on your Joomla! site. Users can search for info and reviews about local businesses in an area. Results are given in a detailed listing and corresponding map.

Features

The user enters Search Terms and Location and then starts the search.
The JYelp component retrieves corresponding results from the Yelp API.
Results are then listed and also shown on a GoogleMaps map view.

Installation and Configuration

Obtain your Yelp Web Service ID (YWSID): Yelp FAQ
1. Create an account and/or login with a current account.
2. Request API access or retrieve a YWSID.

Obtain your Google Maps Key: Google Maps Signup
1. Check that you've read the terms and conditions.
2. Enter your webs site URL.
3. Press 'Generate API Key' button.

Edit the JYelp parameters in the Joomla! backend and input your YWSID and Google Maps Key values from steps 1 and 2.

Create a menu item of type JYelp Map View.
